ObamaCareI oppose ObamaCare as a violation of the individual’s right to be left alone. Some persons face high medical bills because life is not fair. Bella Tucker suffered a medical disaster many years ago and the community rallied to her support to raise money for her and her family. That’s the job of the community, not the government. Other persons face high medical bills because in their case, life happened to be fair. They smoked cigarette after cigarette, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, decade after decade. Now they are diagnosed with lung cancer, heart disease, or emphysema. How can anybody call these anything but deliberately self-inflicted? They want the government to steal money from innocent persons, such as Ed and Elaine Brown, to pay for the treatment.
